Fundraising
As a non-profit, civic organization, fundraising is an important part of the Ad Club mission. Not only do our fundraisers allow us to operate as a Club, they afford us the opportunity to give back to our community. Have a great idea for a fundraiser? Addy Awards
The Addy Committee organizaes The Montana Addy Awards, a professional awards show recognizing state-wide creative excellence. The committee works to increase industry participation in the competition, maintain or increase the level of entries, enhance the competition’s image and ensure that local winners progress to the District and National Addy Award competitions.
Membership
Solicits and retains members through membership drives and membership mixers. This committee also develops and executes committee recruitment programs, such as the mentor program new member luncheons.
Programs
The Programs Committee coordinates quality programming that fosters active interest in well-attended meetings and membership growth. Selects speakers and activities for Ad Club’s monthly meetings and organizes other Club events, such as Marketing Bootcamps.
Communications & Public Relations
Issues Ad Club press releases and promotes the Club and its activities to local, regional and national media.
Education
Encourages an interest in communications, marketing, advertising and art among Montana high school and university students. Plans and executes Ad Club’s annual student scholarship program and oversees the selection of recipients. This committee also works to educate the Great Falls' community about Ad Club.
Diversity
The Diversity Committee oversees projects and programs designed to increase diverse representation in the local advertising community. The Diversity Committee also works with our Membership and Programs Committees to ensure that the needs and interests of our diverse membership are being met.
Government Relations
Monitors local, state and national legislative activity pertaining to advertising issues. Spearheads proactive and defensive actions to protect the industry’s best interests.
Awards & Recognition
This committee honors our awesome members by recognizing them for achievements in all areas. Awards include the Golden Garter/Golden Girdle Awards (a longtime Ad Club tradition), the Mover and Shaker Award, the AAF's Silver Medal Award, and KUDOs Awards.
Creative Committee
One of our newest committees, the Creative Committee works with all other committess to find ways to make Ad Club more fun and festive! From creative ways to promote our events and activities to hospitable and fun ways to engage our members at monthly meetings, the Creative Committee is perfect for advertising gurus with a wacky and wild sense of adventure!
