A club this extraordinary just doesn’t just happen overnight. Our roots go all the way back to 1916, when the very first incarnation of the Great Falls Ad Club began. Some of that club’s first ventures included sponsoring the city’s first rodeo, a food show, and “window display night,” in which downtown windows were covered all day and uncovered at the blowing of the fire siren at night. Other major events sponsored by the first Ad Club over the years include an Easter egg hunt in the 30’s in the park where the Civic Center now stands, and the Pet and Doll Parade, which continues to this day.
Though we took a break during the second world war, Ad Club came storming back in the late 50s. And throughout the years, we’ve remained a vital part of Great Falls. From our charitable “Cadillac Dinners” in the 50’s and 60s to the legendary C.M. Russell Art Auction, our events and civic projects have helped thousands of people and contributed to the welfare of our city. We’re proud of our history and looking forward to the future.
